KSOP – Studium für angewandte Optik und Photonik
The Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics (KSOP) has developed a comprehensive M.Sc. and Ph.D. Program in Optics & Photonics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Optics & Photonics are key enabling technologies for many high-end industrial applications and furthermore drive research in physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering. The mission of the Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics (KSOP) is to provide a multidisciplinary environment for first-class research and education as well as for the generation of knowledge and innovation in Optics & Photonics. KSOP research activities cover a wide range of topics in Optics & Photonics and excel in particular in the four Research Areas: Photonic Materials & Devices, Advanced Spectroscopy, Biomedical Photonics, Optical Systems, and Solar Energy (new since 2012).
