art of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) , the Carl Benz School of Engineering offers quality German university education in the form of an undergraduate mechanical engineering degree program for English-speaking students from around the world. Carl Benz School students benefit from the mentor system that is tailored to meet their specific needs.
The three-year (six-semester) Bachelor of Science program offers students a well-balanced theory- and practical-based curriculum, since the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the KIT comprises a full spectrum of applications. Practical research and development are integral to the curriculum in Mechanical Engineering.
To complete the whole program, students must also complete a basic industrial internship (at least 6 weeks) and an advanced internship (at least 6 weeks). This will foster career perspectives of our students in industry and already provide them with an industry network during their studies. Finally the program is completed by supplementary studies, such as language course, cultural studies and social events.
